Michael Stock (born 3 December 1951, Margate, Kent, England) is a English songwriter and record producer best known for being a member of the songwriting and record production trio Stock Aitken Waterman. He has co-written and/or co-produced numerous worldwide hits including 16 No. 1 records in the UK, and countless top-40s.[1]
In April 2003, Stock launched a new record label called Better the Devil Records.
Stock wrote a book titled The Hit Factory: The Stock Aitken Waterman Story (ISBN 1-84330-729-4), which was published in September 2004.
He re-formed his partnership with SAW in 2007 and continues to be an active songwriter and record producer, launching new initiatives and projects to new generations of music buyers.
Stock's younger brother Mark (a.k.a. Marc Lemezma) is an internationally renowned magician and author of several books published in over seven languages.[citation needed]
