In Japan Adult Broadcasting Awards has award for the Best Mature Actress.[9] The earliest known online reference is a 1995 Usenet post about a Playboy pictorial of attractive mothers.[10] Other terms used in the genre is the cougar that implies an older woman as predator.[10]
