Million Air is an aviation company that operates fixed base operators (FBO) across the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean. The Million Air Brand of FBOs has been providing general aviation service since 2006. Its newest location in San Bernardino, CA began operations on May 3, 2010.

History

Million Air is a network of both franchised and corporate owned or managed FBOs in North America and the Caribbean and is headquartered in Houston, Texas. The first FBO was built in Addison, Texas (Dallas) and at the time, was the first luxury FBO in aviation history. The contemporary design and innovative thinking drew national attention so much that the network expanded across North America. Over the next 25 years, the Million Air name became iconic and was synonymous with service and luxury beyond providing the traditional services of an FBO.

Aviation Services

Million Air FBOs provide fueling service, aircraft charter, aircraft sales, general aviation maintenance and maintenance services to airlines.

Amenities

A FBO is essentially a refueling facility for aircraft that offers a variety of aviation-related services. Million Air also offers first class charter and aircraft management as well as certified maintenance centers.

Million Air FBOs provide or make available the following amenities: concierge services, in-flight catering, U.S. Customs, hospitality bars with complimentary soft drinks, coffee and snacks, VIP lounges, theater rooms, elegant washrooms, BMW 5 Series crew cars, on-site Hertz rental, executive conference rooms, flight planning rooms, pilot's lounge, full facility WiFi, and pilot snooze rooms.

Accident

22 October 1996, a Boeing 707-323C crashed shortly after take-off from Manta Airport carrying frozen fish and flowers, the aircraft smashed the tops off of houses in the Dolorosa neighbourhood and crashed. Local officials said that one of the Boeing's four engines were on fire. All four crew members were killed in the crash.
