Mingus Revisited, originally released as Pre-Bird is an album by jazz bassist and composer Charles Mingus; it was recorded and released in 1960. It consists of music that was composed before the bebop era, hence the title, "Pre-Bird." The music is scored for various sized large jazz ensembles and features a number of notable soloists.
