The Australian Minister for Small Business is Brendan O'Connor, appointed on 5 March 2012. The Minister administers his portfolio through the Department of Industry, Innovation, Science, Research and Tertiary Education. Minister O'Connor is also currently Minister for Housing and Minister for Homelessness, portfolios which he administers through the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs.[1] .
