The Icelandic Ministry for Foreign Affairs or the Icelandic Ministry for Foreign Affairs and External Trade[1] (Icelandic: Utanríkisráðuneytið) is a cabinet-level ministry responsible for the country's foreign relations and defence[2]. Since 1 February 2009, the minister has been Össur Skarphéðinsson of the Social Democratic Alliance.
