The Miss Teenage Calfiornia competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of California to compete in a national level pageant. Competitors are judged in the areas of "activities & achievements", personality, poise, and appearance in formal wear. The pageant does not include either a swimsuit or talent competition, and awards college scholarships, wardrobe, and other prizes. ].[1] The competition is produced by Danfranc Productions, of Elk Grove. The pageant founder, and director since its founding, is Frank Lameira.[2]

The winner of the Miss Teenage California 2012 pageant was Cassandra Kunze of El Cajon. The First Runner Up was Jada Clark of Corona. The Second Runner Up was Claire Wright of Auburn. The Third Runner Up was Jayne Geist of Vacaville. The Fourth Runner Up was Tiani Hernandez of San Jose.
The 2013 pageant will be held April 26-28, 2013 at the Hilton @ Los Angeles Airport. The winner of Miss Teenage California 2013 is scheduled to receive a $10,000 college scholarship to the college of her choice. The four runners up will receive college scholarships of $4,000, $3,000, $2,000, and $1,000 respectively. The top 10 not among the four runners up will receive a $500 college scholarship.[3]
