Miss Venezuela 1961 was held in Caracas, Venezuela, on July 1, 1961. At the conclusion of the final night of competition, outgoing titleholder Gladys Ascanio, crowned Ana Griselda Vegas of Caracas as the new Miss Venezuela. This year, Camay Soaps, the most important sponsor of the Miss Venezuela, included in the newspapers coupons to vote for the delegates, which were considered during the event.
