Miyako (宮古語; Miyako: /mjaːkufucy/) is a language spoken by an unknown number of people in the Miyako Islands south of Okinawa. It is a Ryukyuan language, most closely related to Yaeyama.
Miyako can be divided into several dialect groupings, such as Karimata, Ōura, Hirara, Uechi, Irabu, Ikema, Ōgami, Kurima, Tarama, Minna, etc.
