Plot

Brought to video by Major League Baseball, this 30 minute black and white highlight reel stars arguably the finest home run hitter of all-time. Just four years into his legendary career a young Hank Aaron helped the upstart Braves of Milwaukee stun the baseball world by upsetting the heavily favored world champion New York Yankees. With Mickey Mantle hampered by a wrenched shoulder, the National League Braves dumped their American League counterparts in the seventh and deciding game. Led by veteran pitcher Lew Burdette, who tossed 24 innings of shutout baseball, the Braves captured their first world championship for the city of Milwaukee and their sports crazed fans.
