This video documents the 1989 baseball championship series between the Oakland A's and the San Francisco Giants. The series is interrupted by a devastating earthquake before the third game and delayed for ten days. Dave Stewart, one of only two starting pitchers used by Oakland, becomes the first man to pitch two winning games in both the playoffs and World Series. Oakland dominates, winning the series four games to none. The teams donate a portion of their series shares to help local earthquake victims. Players featured include Giants Will Clark and Kevin Mitchell, and A's Mark McGwire, Jose Canseco, and Rickey Henderson. ~ Steve Blackburn, All Movie Guide
