Plot

Lower-echelon silent cowboy Bill Cody starred in this ordinary Western produced by poverty row entrepreneur Jesse J. Goldburg. The story, by the veteran George W. Pyper, was nothing much: Having inherited a piece of valuable land from his uncle, a young cowboy uncovers a plot to take control over said property. The girl in this case, Peggy O'Dare, is the daughter of one of the villains, but she nevertheless remains on the side of justice. Mack V. Wright played the menace, and old-timer Frank Rice supplied his usual comedy shtick as the sheriff. A popular sagebrush heroine of the '20s, Peggy O'Dare also appeared under the name Peggy O'Day. ~ Hans J. Wollstein, Rovi
