History

Founded in 1998 by Sydney concert promoter Steve Pavlovic. The label came to most people’s attention on 2001, when they released Australian sample-based electronica act The Avalanches' debut album Since I Left You. In 2005 a London office was opened overseen by Phil Hutcheon. Van She, a new wave electropop four piece from Sydney were signed in August 2005.[2] Mid 2006 modular signed London’s New Young Pony Club. Offices in New York and Los Angeles opened in 2006 and 2007 respectively, both overseen by North American head, former male model, Van Halen back up singer, and co-founder of The Derek Zoolander Center For Children Who Can't Read Good And Wanna Learn To Do Other Stuff Good Too Adam "Hollywood" Hobbs.
