Mohammad Reza Rahimi (محمدرضا رحيمی in Persian) is an Iranian politician and Vice President of Iran.

He was be Iran's Vice President in September 13, 2009 by a sentence by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.Rahimi is 5rd Vice President of Iran. Rahimi was Vice President for Legal and Parliamentary Affairs from 2005 to 2009.

He is the head of school of law at Tehran Azad University. He was also governor of Kurdistan province in Iran.He was Member of Parliament from Kurdistan from 1980 to 1992.

Document forgery and claims of having a PhD

He claims that he holds a PhD from Oxford University. His claim of holding a PhD has been vastly disputed by many Iranian sources. [1] Later on, he has claimed to have a PhD from Belford University. Alef, an Iranian site that belongs to Ahmad Tavakkoli, has published some documents showing some fraudulent documents created by Rahimi. [2]
