Though she's the daughter of the late gifted composer Henry Mancini, Monica Mancini sings in a voice that makes it clear she has many special talents of her own. Originally aired as a PBS special, this program was taped during Mancini's recent performance at UCLA's Royce Hall and during studio recording sessions. She sings some classic songs of her father's, such as "Moon River," "The Days of Wine and Roses," and "Charade." She even sings a recovered Henry Mancini melody, complete with lyrics written by Will Jennings. ~ Elizabeth Smith, Rovi
