The shell is rather large and solid, ovate, with the anterior end narrower. The foramen is relatively small, with a subtriangular internal callus. Sculpture is of numerous radial ribs crossed by subequal concentric ridges, resulting in a netted surface. The shell margin is smooth in adults but sometimes finely denticulate in juveniles.
Maximum shell height is 5 mm, width 16 mm, and length 22 mm.
