Montana Banana

Refers to holding 9-2 as one’s hole cards in Texas Hold’em. This is a fairly weak hand that one would likely not stay in on except to bluff.

SoundPoker Says: The origin of the term is divided between two explanations; one is that 92 is the number of the proposition that legalized poker in Montana, and the other is the joke that bananas will grow in Montana before that hand makes any money.
