Moral Crux/Boris the Sprinkler

Album Review: Moral Crux/Boris the Sprinkler

Review

For starters, the Moral Crux side absolutely rule. Sure there's a little Ramones/ Misfits influence going on, but just because this style's been overdone by every suburban garage across America doesn't mean that someone on occasion will do it right. Guaranteed that it'll get an entire room to sing along to "Psychotic neurotic/ oh ooha." Meanwhile, Boris the Sprinkler continue with their usual brand of funny punk and a cover of The Tyrants "Attitude." Nothing too stand offish in comparison to their several past split records, but at least they get a good laugh in every once in a while -maybe canned laughter should be included for every joke Rev. Norb makes so we know when he makes a funny. ~ Mike DaRonco, All Music Guide
