Mordiendo el Duende, the North American debut from "Flamencobilly" quintet Martires del Compas showcases the complex flamenco-steeped sound that they have been exploring in Spain for years. With songs of longing and sadness, their bittersweet sound envelops a world of influences, including rap and reggae, along with the already multicultural gypsy sound of Flamenco.
