May 14–15. Muscoda, WI. Wisconsin’s “Morel Mushroom Capital” celebrates the end of the morel mushroom’s two-week peak season. The 29th annual celebration includes the buying and selling of morels, food vendors, softball tournament, arts and crafts, antique tractor pull, flea market and many fun activities for the whole family. Saturday evening is the annual Fireman’s Steak Feed followed by music and fireworks; Sunday brings a large parade. Annually, the weekend after Mother’s Day. Est attendance: 2,300.
