More house on funk forward from David Hill's Nuphonic label, here revisiting Raj Gupta and Glen Gunner's 2001 album for a set of remixes. Sadly, the majority of the takes feel rushed, with even the usually consistent Fug and Charlie Dark struggling with the source material. The inclusion of two versions of "Find an Oasis," "My Sunshine," and "Morning Sun" within the nine-mix track listing will do little to satisfy the hunger of even the most ardent Block 16 supporter. With this in mind, it is only the "Evolusive" mix of "Electrokution" that easily steals the compilation's thunder, a 14-minute epic which moshes rock into funk house and blipped keys. ~ Kingsley Marshall, All Music Guide
