Review

The Most Relaxing Album in the World...Ever features a mix of smooth pop, rock, and new age songs like Enigma's "Sadness," Mike Oldfield's "Tubular Bells," the Beach Boys' "God Only Knows," Otis Redding's "Dock of the Bay," and Deep Forest's "Sweet Lullaby." Aside from similarly mellow tempos, not much links Enya's "Orinoco Flow," Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game," and Sade's "Smooth Operator," but overall, The Most Relaxing Album in the World...Ever is an enjoyable, accessible collection, even if it doesn't live up to its title. ~ Heather Phares, All Music Guide
