Mostafa Pour-Mohammadi
Hojatoll-Islam Mostafa Pour-Mohammadi (born in Qom circa 1959[1]) is an important mullah and politician in the Islamic Republic of Iran. In 2005, he was appointed as the new interior minister of the country by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad with the approval of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. He is reportedly implicated in the 1988 Massacre of Iranian Prisoners[2] based on the orders of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini and other key Islamic scholars.
He has been allegedly involved in the killings of Darioush Forohar and Parvaneh Forohar, Majid Sharif, Mohammad Mokhtari, Jafar Pouyandeh, and hundreds of others.[3]
In an effort to end the plight of refugees, Hajoll-Islam Pour-Mohammadi attended a meeting of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees on 10 October 2006 in Geneva, Switzerland.[4]
