Mother of All Saints

Album Review: Mother of All Saints

Review

Mother of All Saints is the Fellers' magnum opus. At 23 songs, it might be longer than most people's attention spans, but inside it lurks some of their finest moments, such as "Tell Me," "Hive," "Hummingbird in a Cube of Ice," and "Infection." True, there is plenty of "Feller-filler" on Mother of All Saints (an inspired piece called "Tuning Notes" attests to that), but the group's melodic sensibilities prevail in the actual songs on this album. ~ Heather Phares, All Music Guide
