Motherless Child
"Motherless Child" is a traditional blues song. It was popularized first by Barbecue Bob,[1] and later covered on Eric Clapton's album From the Cradle, as well as rapper Ghostface Killah in his 1996 solo debut Ironman.
This song has also been performed beautifully by octagenarian jazz legend Jimmy Scott and radically in a dark drum n' bass re-working by Scottish electronic artist Waterson.
