Motomachi-Chūkagai Station (元町・中華街駅, Motomachi-Chūkagai-eki^?) is an underground terminus of the Minatomirai Line subway located in Naka-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. It is 4.1 kilometers from the opposite terminus of the Minatomirai Line at Yokohama Station. Its official name, as shown on signage in the station, is Motomachi-Chūkagai Station (Yamashita-kōen) (元町・中華街駅（山下公園）, Motomachi-Chūkagai-eki Yamashitakōen^?) with the sub-name in parentheses although the use of this name is limited. Trains inter-run with the Tōkyū Tōyoko Line from Shibuya Station.

History

Motomachi-Chūkagai Station opened on February 1, 2004 with the opening of the Minatomirai Line.
