mouse port

 

A socket in the computer into which a mouse is plugged. The mouse port on a laptop PC uses a PS/2 connector, which is a 6-pin Mini-DIN socket. On desktop PCs, the serial port is typically used for the mouse, not a mouse port. On a Macintosh, the ADB connector is used.
