Review

Collecting some of the best examples of using old songs in the new movies of the late '90s, Movie Killers includes classics like "Green Onions" (from Get Shorty), "Mannish Boy" (Goodfellas), "Blue Velvet" (Blue Velvet), "The 'In' Crowd" (Casino) and "Oye Como Va" (Carlito's Way). The films of Quentin Tarantino account for six tracks -- from Pulp Fiction comes "Let's Stay Together," "Son of a Preacher Man," "Miserlou" and "Jungle Boogie," while "Little Green Bag" and "Stuck in the Middle with You" appear from Reservoir Dogs. The variety makes for a great collection, and one much more economical than picking up individual soundtracks. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
