Review
Even more than the debut album of a year earlier, the leader seems comfortable in his role as the working man's spokesman. Opening with a shot of raucous blues-rock, the album has its empathetic moments when dealing with the problems of living a hard life in the Canadian maritime. Keyboardist Paul Dunn plays a more prominent role with playing and songwriting. Claire Lawrence of Chilliwack again produces and plays. ~ Mark Allan, All Music GuideTracks
