Plot

"Mr." is David (John Rubinstein), a lawyer. "Mrs." is Mandy (Lee Kroeger), his wife. Together they solved mysteries, Nick-and-Nora fashion, in a brace of videotaped pilots for an unsold comedy/mystery TV series. Mr. & Mrs. and the Bandstand Mystery was the second of these 90-minute efforts. David and Mandy come to the aid of a nasty British rock star's road manager, who has been accused of the singer's murder. Bandstand Mystery was first telecast on ABC's late-night Wide World Mystery on December 23, 1975, one week after the telecast of the first "Mr. & Ms." escapade, The Magic Studio Mystery (see entry 127560). ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
