Game Description
For a lady, Ms. Pac-Man sure has a big appetite. As you guide the yellow, pie-shaped heroine around each of the four mazes in this game, she gobbles up the dots lining the pathways. If she eats one of the four Power Pellets in each corner of the maze, she can (temporarily) devour the four ghosts that are in constant pursuit.When Ms. Pac-Man eats a ghost, its eyes will return to the center of the screen, reform itself, and begin its pursuit anew. If a ghost touches the First Lady of Gaming when she is not energized by a Power Pellet, she will lose a life. An extra life is awarded at 10,000 points and more can be won with higher scores. To help in avoiding the ghosts, warp tunnels are provided in each maze allowing Ms. Pac-Man to travel instantly to the other side.
In addition to eating dots and pellets, Ms. Pac-Man enjoys a bit of bonus fruit from time to time. Cherries, oranges, strawberries and other tasty morsels bounce about the maze pathways (one at a time) and are just too tempting to pass up.
You can play the game in half-screen mode where you can see the entire maze at all times or full-size screen mode where you get a close-up of Ms. Pac-Man's location in the maze. Two levels of difficulty are available, and two players can compete for the high score in alternating turns. In the two-player game, player one is the title character while player two is Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man's significant other.
Unlike Pac-Man for the Game Gear, Ms. Pac-Man does not offer two-player simultaneous play via the link cable. ~ Brett Alan Weiss, All Game Guide
