The Mathematics Training and Talent Search Programme or MTTS is a summer training programme in India for mathematics, started at the B.Sc. (undergraduate) level, aimed to expose bright young minds to mathematics and equip them better for Ph.D. studies. It is funded by the National Board for Higher Mathematics, India. The organizer is Professor S. Kumaresan.

Levels

The MTTS has three levels:

  • Level 0
  • Level 1
  • Level 2

Eligibility

  • Level 0: Second year undergraduate (B.Sc./B.Stat./B.Tech.) students with Mathematics as one of their subjects can apply; exceptionally good first-year B.Sc. students may also apply.
  • Level 1: Final year undergraduate (B.Sc./B.Stat./B.Tech.) students with mathematics as one of their subjects can apply.
  • Level 2: First-year postgraduate (M.Sc./M.Stat./M.Tech.) students with mathematics as one of their subjects can apply.
