Muhajirun

Muhajirun (Arabic: المهاجرونThe Emigrants) is an Arabic term used to describe the early, initial Muslims who followed the Islamic prophet Muhammad on his Hijra (withdrawal from Mecca to Medina). The early Muslims from Medina are called the Ansar ("helpers").
