Mullo

Roman name for a native god worshipped in north-western Gaul, not entirely separable from Gaulish Mars, for whom his name is sometimes an epithet. His name survives in several shrines and inscriptions, most notably a circular temple at Craôn. Despite his name linking him to the mule and horse, Mullo was probably more associated with Mars as a healing god, especially of diseases of the eye.
