CMX's last effort for the valued Bad Vugum label is surely different from their earlier recordings. Musiikin Ystävälliset Kasvot is basically pop (actually that was the main reason why Bad Vugum didn't want to continue with CMX); the riffs are certainly played with patience this time and the tempo has been lowered down. CMX's style still has some punk, but it is obvious that this kind of material doesn't fit into Bad Vugum's format. Don't think that "Musiikin Ystävälliset Kasvot" and B-side "Vieraita Avaruudesta" aren't great songs, but most of CMX's old fans may not like the new direction. ~ Antti J. Ravelin, Rovi
