Plot

To help Tim (Bill Bixby) balance the household budget, Martin takes a job tutoring 12-year-old Eddie Prescott (Keith Taylor), a spoiled brat who hates school. Eddie also wears silver braces--and it just so happens that Martin is allergic to silver. Before long, Martin's powers have been sapped and Eddie has "inherited" his teacher's high intelligence.
