Mycobacterium scrofulaceum is a species of Mycobacterium.^[1]

It is the most common cause of cervical lymphadenitis in children.^{[citation needed]}

It is sometimes included in the "MAIS group" with Mycobacterium avium and Mycobacterium intracellulare.^[2]
