Mycobacterium scrofulaceum is a species of Mycobacterium.[1]
It is the most common cause of cervical lymphadenitis in children.[citation needed]
It is sometimes included in the "MAIS group" with Mycobacterium avium and Mycobacterium intracellulare.[2]
