| Dental Dictionary: mylohyoid nerve |
A branch of the mandibular division of the cranial trigeminal nerve that serves the mylohyoid and digastric muscles of the mouth. It is thought to be a possible alternative innervation for the pulp tissues of the mandibular first molar in some cases.
