Biography

A teen-affiliated pop group based in Dublin, Mytown featured the talents of vocalist/pianist Paul Walker, vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Danny O'Donoghue, and vocalists/guitarists Marc Sheehan and Terry Daly. The foursome met in 1996 at the Diggers Lane performing arts school and began singing together almost immediately. After creating a buzz in the U.K., the group appeared on American TV and on the soundtrack to Snow Day before releasing the single "Now That I Found You." Their self-titled debut album followed in mid-2000, but Mytown had disbanded by the following year. O'Donoghue and Sheehan temporarily relocated to Los Angeles, where they worked as producers before returning to Ireland and forming the successful pop/rock trio the Script. ~ Heather Phares, Rovi
