Naas, Nass
One of the four wives of Lug Lámfhota. Through folk invention the town of Naas [Modern Irish Nás na Ríogh, the assembly place of the kings] has been ascribed as her birth- or burial-place. The site of Naas, however, was a residence of the kings of Leinster until the 10th century, thus a meeting-place for great assemblies.
