Nós is an Irish language youth lifestyle magazine. The magazine first began publishing online on 17 March 2008 as part of the annual Irish language week, Seachtain na Gaeilge. After publishing a glossy print edition for over a year, it is now published on a monthly basis with Irish-language newspaper Gaelscéal.
Nós contains articles on such topics as music, movies, travel, current affairs and sexuality. Among the people currently writing for the magazine are Rónán Mac Aodha Bhuí from RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta and Tomaí Ó Conghaile, former assistant editor of Lá Nua and ex-presenter with BBC Raidió Uladh.
As of November 2008, the magazine began publishing a colour print edition.[1] The first issue to be published, issue 5, was a compilation of previously published material.
The magazine is entirely written in the Irish language, with one article also published to date in Scottish Gaelic.
The magazine is now available on the last Friday of every month for free as a pull-out in the weekly newspaper Gaelscéal.
