Narara railway station is located in Narara on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia on the Newcastle & Central Coast Line. The station has two platforms. Platform 1 (Pacific Highway side) has trains heading from Newcastle to Central, and Platform 2 (Narara Valley Drive side) has trains heading from Central to Newcastle (subject to change during trackworks). The station is served by intercity trains to Sydney & Newcastle. The platforms are only 4 cars long, even though many Central Coast trains are 6 and 8 cars long, though this is not a problem with some trains which have selective door locks.

Service Frequency is approximately 1 train per hour in each direction, every day. In peak hours, there is often 2 or 3 trains in the hour.
