narodna muzika
Narodna muzika (Cyrillic: Народна музика) also called "фолк музика" ("folk muzika") or "фолклорна музика" ("folklorna muzika") means folk music in Bosnian, Bulgarian, Croatian, Macedonian, Serbian and some other languages.
Meaning
Its narrow and most proper meaning encompasses only the traditional music. It should not be equated to the similar modernized forms such as the so called newly composed folk music (Serbian: Новокомпонована народна музика[1]; Macedonian: Новосоздадена народна музика[2]), which is sometimes labeled as pop-folk, and its modern successor Turbo-folk.
