narrow bezel

 

A thin border around the screen. Narrow bezels are typically from 5/16" to 5/8" wide compared to standard bezels, which are more than an inch wide. Narrow bezels are common on laptop screens and are increasingly found on desktop flat panels so that multiple units can be placed closer together.
