Natasha Wescoat
Natasha Wescoat is a contemporary Michigan artist known for her whimsical art which has become popular among children and adults worldwide. Her web-based video series called "Postmodern Artist" is hosted on YouTube. Her videos center around painting, artist tutorials, and biographical clips. She is also the author of Secrets of Powerselling Artists and Passion of Art, which was inspired by her personal success as an art business and as a listed contemporary artist. Rising To Worldwide Acclaim
Due to her rising fame, Natasha has become part of many projects in film and publishing. In October 15th, 2006, Wescoat's art was part of a special Extreme Makeover: Home Edition in which several pieces of her work were presented in the Bliven home. In 2007, the art education company, Abrakadoodle began offering classes on Natasha Wescoat's work. Spring of 2007, Art Business News, one of the largest trade publications in the US named her Emerging Artist and Trendsetter. An interview with the artist will be featured in an upcoming publication of the Artist and Graphic Designers Market 2008 book, and her art will be seen on the upcoming movie "Marley & Me" which has cast Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson. Natasha's "Alice in Wonderland" series is also featured in the new franchise Mad Hatter Cupcakes located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her story has been a subject of classrooms, corporations, and art critics.
