University of London. She got an MFA in
Creative Writing and Literature from
Bennington College, Vermont and a Master of Arts in English and her Bachelor of
Arts in International Relations and Communications at Simmons College,
She has given lectures on Ethnic-American literature at the Sorbonne in Paris
