The National Immigration Forum (also called "The Forum") is an immigrant rights organization based in Washington, DC that publishes studies, lobbies congress members, and networks local organizations with the goal of increasing public support for immigration to the United States. It was established in 1982.

Background

With a slightly moderate rhetoric, the Forum is one of the main DC and national multi-constituency groups urging comprehensive immigration reform along with the Campaign for Comprehensive Immigration Reform, Fair Immigration Reform Movement of Center for Community Change and the We Are America Alliance. Its directors include representatives of the National Restaurant Association, the American Nursery and Landscape Association, and the US Chamber of Commerce.[1]
