The National Indoor Sports Arena and Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome is an indoor arena and velodrome currently under construction in Parkhead, Glasgow, Scotland.[2] Built for the 2014 Commonwealth Games, these venues will host the Badminton and Track cycling events. Situated opposite Celtic Park in the East End of Glasgow, the complex will become the headquarters of Sportscotland and Scottish Cycling.

Indoor Arena
The Indoor Arena will have a capacity of 5,000 and during the Commonwealth Games it will host 12 Badminton courts in three indoor sports halls.[3] The arena will have a hydraulically lifted 200m indoor running track that will host the Aviva International Match, which will move from Kelvin Hall[3]. The Glasgow Rocks are also due to move to the Arena from the Kelvin Hall for the start of the 2012/2013 season.
Velodrome
The Velodrome will have 250m indoor track with a capacity of 2,500 (2,000 seated), expanding to 4,500 (4,000 seated) with temporary seating during the Games.[3] The Velodrome is named after Olympic and Commonwealth Games gold-medal winning Scottish track cyclist Chris Hoy.
