The National Statistical Service of Greece (NSSG) is a General Secretariat of the Greek Ministry of Economy and Finance with more than 1100 employees.

The main user of NSSG's data is the Greek state. Other users are the European Union, international organizations (UN, UNESCO, OECD etc), various researchers and scientists, businessmen, as well as citizens.

The NSSG collects data which concern population, employment and unemployment, as well as data concerning health and social insurance, education, etc.
