Oct 1–31. On Sept 5, 2003, US Senate Resolution 210 was passed designating October as National Work and Family Month. The resolution expressed “the sense of the Senate that supporting a balance between work and personal life is in the best interest of national worker productivity” and that reducing any conflict between the two “should be a national priority.”
